Predictably, Judge Rober Perry has thrown out the gun enhancement the jury added to Johannes Mehserle's conviction of Involuntary Manslaughter and has sentenced Mehserle to the very minimum recommended sentence for Involuntary Manslaughter - two years, giving Mehserle credit for time served, meaning Mehserle could be out of state prison in just over a year from now.
