Girls night out

by Some ecstatic feminists
the latest feminist offensive
Not so long ago, some young women in Santa Cruz slashed the tires of the hated parking enforcement vehicles in the night, as nothing could better exemplify the slightly matriarchal character of authority under Empire. Masculinized women and feminized men are all that are left to us of the once eternal "gender roles". In this the police, sensing their emasculation, have tried to hush it up, but that won't work! A dying capitalism assumes the form of femininity as a last ruse, like the specialized female anti-insurgency squads in Afghanistan today. No matter! We have here turned the stereotypical assumptions concerning women into an offensive ground, the better to take the attack to capital and the state. No one ever suspects a lady. . .

"This action sets a precedent". Indeed, a different precedent, a different target, and a different action, for an-other type of feminism.

much love,
some ecstatic feminists

You slashed the tires of the Parking enforcement vehicles???? Wow, what a militant act of rebellion and revolt!!! Why don't you stupid collge kids quit acting tough and trying to portray yourselves as revolutionaries. I mean honestly, this is so stupid! And what the hell is all this crap that you are writing about:

"nothing could better exemplify the slightly matriarchal character of authority under Empire"

The parking enforcement people??? There are alot more repressive entities of the state and empire than the parking enforcement. Are you serious??? And don't you mean patriarchy instead of matriarchy.

I have no idea what the hell you are talking about!!! Are you trying to sound intellectual or sophisticated or something??? You just come off as garbbled and pre-tenious. Give me a break, is that what your rich parents spend there money on for you to learn at UCSC???? Not to also mention that you give the police clues when you post things like this. Stupid college kids, grow up and quit acting tough and trying to be revolutionaries. You will probably give up on all of it once you graduated and go to work for the man anyways.

You misspelled woMEN.

by ...this action is for real WOMYN
Notice there under the word "TOPICS" on the left hand side of this page? It says WOMYN--that is the topic here. Not a misspelling...

"Not a misspelling..."

-Don't you mean a "misterpelling"? Why should something negative like a wrongly spelled word have a feminine connotation?

It was immature teenage boy vandals! Seriously you can't hide it. I have posted the truth 7 times yet you keep deleting my comment. Why? Because you are afraid the cops will realize who you really are. Thought it would be easy to throw them off by posting that it was women who committed the vandalism on indybay? Everyone sees right through you.

I dont care about your Women's Lib agenda (although you do have a minor point about feminization as a last-ditch effort to legitimize the illegitimate - however, you could just as easily be accused of the same so it's a double-edged sword. Why not just drop the issue, eh?)

But I do care about the thieves who call themselves Parking Enforcement. They've hit me more than once. Thank you for serving some justice on them and their ill-gotten gains! We need more actions like this to discourage their thievery. I don't care if they pounce most of their victims in front of Urban Outfitters; an injustice to one is an injustice to all, no matter where they choose to shop. Hinging our recognition of injustice on where the victim buys their clothes is the height of hypocrisy.

Good job!
