Police kill Mountain Lion in Berkeley
Berkeley police shoot, kill mountain lion they maintain "came at them"
Berkeley Police opened fire on and killed a mountain lion on the northside of Berkeley. The police stated that the Mountain Lion "approached" them and was thought to be carrying a knife or a screwdriver. No weapon was found at the scene. Police spokesperson Mary Kusmiss was quick to point out that. " We do not have any kind of tranquillizers for this kind of thing."
Some bystanders opined that maybe they should start by drinking less coffee, Ms. Kusmiss also pointed out that there are many homeless people sleeping in doorways that could of been menaced by the savage beasts.
