Video-CNA Nurses Picket Whitman In Atherton "We Will Not Back Down"

Eleven hundred nurses marched and rallied against billionaire Meg Whitman at her Atherton mansion. The CNA nurses declared that they will not "back down" from her threats to eliminate protections for nurses and patients and also threats to fire 40,000 state workers and attack public pensions.

Eleven hundred CWA nurses on 7/15/2010 from throughout California went to Meg Whitman's mansion in Atherton, California to protest her attacks on workers. Whitman who is running for governor has promised to layoff 40,000 state workers and to attack public worker pensions and deregulate conditions in health and safety protection and other areas.
