Son of the Ki-Kongo travel well, African New Day 2010 we will celebrate your journey

by Michael Harris (blackagriculture [at] yahoo.com)
Plans to celebrate African New Year's Day 6,250, a Golden Jubilee of African Independence will seek deeper meaning in the transition of Floribert Chebeya Bahizire to a world where fear, ignorance and superstition rules. The United Nation's was first created in San Francisco, California. One of the first UN mission's was in the Rain Forest Region of Africa. The Berlin Conference proceedings and partition of Africa like a jigsaw puzzle continues to yield the desired result. May the living spirit of Florbert Chebeya Bahizire remain strong and give us the stregnth to reconnect with our ancestors of KiKongo.

Sacramento, CA -- Exhausted from a difficult week and looking forward to a more challenging week ahead I am wondering why we collectively allow fear, ignorance and superstition rule so much of this amazing world.

News of a leading Congolese Human Rights activist found dead is a terrible loss to our world, Chebeya.

Reports share that he had suffered a pattern of intimidation for his work on behalf of Voix des Sans Voix, or the Voice of the Voiceless, sadly I did not know his name until after onging reports of his physical transition to the spirit world.

The life of Floribert Chebeya Bahizire, will be remembered and celebrated while we prepare for African New Year’s Day in Sacramento, California celebrating the Golden Jubilee of 17 African Nations obtaining independence 50 year’s ago, including the Congo.

The gravemarkers of KiKongo ancestors not far from our California State Capitol, read tonight, "Unknown Niggers"
and many unsolved and unknown deaths of African freedom fighters remains an essential part of this place we call earth.

As reported in various wire and news services, ''For more than 20 years, Chebeya Bahizire had survived many death threats, arrests, and ill treatment due to his work as a human rights defender. He believed in the cause of human rights and was not afraid to pursue it against all odds,'' according to Navi Pillay, U.N. High Commissioner For Human Rights.

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon expressed shock at Chebeya's death, saying ''his reputation as a champion of human rights earned him the respect and admiration of his compatriots and of the international community,'' as reported by the U.N.

U.N. Peacekeeping missions in Congo have strong historical lessons to reflect upon to consider.

Not far away from pain, death, and trauma in today's Congo is the vibrations of Congo Square, Louisiana, African Burial Grounds near Times Square, NY, and Portsmouth Square, San Franciso, CA where despite geography, all have one thing in common, KiKongo ancestors battling seen and unseen forces for freedom in the land we call North America today.

When the body is destroyed it allows the spirit to live free, preparing spirit to function as an ancestor, awaiting judgement of the life that was lived, the elders teach.

Congolese Rights Organizations and others will gain strength and may, yet again, look closely at the Rain Forest Region of Africa. Black Agriculture may see with new eyes see the great loss of genetic ancestral wisdom, yet again, in the dense vegetation of Central Africa.

Those who question the integrity of those assigned to investigate, Chebeya's investigation, I question.

How long will we allow fear, ignorance and superstition rule our world?

Floribert Chebeya Bahizire spirit lives while the grace of our creator allows us to choose a better way, if that is what we decide.
