Hunters Point Shipyard and Candlestick Stick Point Project vision doomed to utter failure.
Kofi Bonner and his team working with Lennar Urban have seen failure written all over the place. But, still continue to fight the community and brag about a Conceptual Plan that could be LENNAR'S worst nightmare. The present Economic situation does not help much - and LENNAR a Rogue Developer must NOT be permitted to execute - the same failure it delivered on Mare Island and tied to Vallejo. It promised 10,000 homes and after 10 years had nothing to show.
LENNAR is a Rogue Developer that will do pretty anything to push its hidden agenda. Right now the Hunters Point Shipyard and Candlestick Point Plan is not flying. The presenters keep telling LIES and leading the pack one Tiffany Bohee from the Mayor Office of Economic Development and Workforce.
Leading City and County of San Francisco employees have stated to LENNAR and to one Jeff Austin that one has to be careful when dealing with toxic dust, contaminants and other such elements detrimental to the health of those living in close proximity of Parcel A and only Parcel that LENNAR has control over.
Over this issues in recent months many good City employees have left and gone to work for private companies. This news is hush hush - but soon I will reveal the details. And with the details the dubious actions of one Jeff Austin.
As stated before only Pacel A comes under the jurisdiction of the SF Redevelopment Agency and LENNAR.
The other parcels B, C, D, E, F, G and more carved out by the United States Navy come under U.S. Navy control and are polluted. No one is talking about Cumulative pollution and LENNAR is meeting with stiff opposition - so much so that they are desperate. No one in their right mind will work and less live at Hunters Point not with all the pollution flying around.
Recently, at a Town Hall meeting to be precise held on February 10 at the Nation of Islam Mosque - amidst decent and professional people gathered. Our children, Sisters and Brothers all very well dignified and listening to a presentation by Wilma Subra - a scientist sent to the community by the Environmental Protection Agency. Lennar chose to sent a Rogue former SF Police Officer with a loaded gun to the Town Hall meeting.
Under a fake name - Bob Tarantino - Bob the rogue office without a permit to carry a concealed weapon - entered the Town Hall meeting with another White man - carrying a weapon, and made a fool of himself.
Such nonsense has not been heard of in San Francisco and the rank and file in the SF Police Department are wondering what is happening to our City? Well, the Mayor, Gavin Newsom is in bed with Lennar having permitted Lennar to fill his campaign coffers. Such incidents - now know all over - are disgracing our fair City - and the Mayor has NOT said a word.
Now, we learn that "thug" Public Relation companies - many of them with dubious records are contracted by Lennar to do their dirty work. This is San Francisco and if Lennar - truly wants to take on the constituents of San Francisco - they will repent and what is more regret the day - they chose tactics that are acceptable in Florida and elsewhere. But, for sure NOT in San Francisco.
The SF Planning Commission heard Lennar give a presentation on April 15, 2010 in Room 400 at City Hall about 6:15 pm. We, all have heard this presentation but what we can gradually see happen is that SF Redevelopment Commissioners and now the SF Planning Commissioners - are not buying the stale presentations that Lennar purports to be well founded but are in reality - as fake as fake can be.
Ninety five percent of the Hunters Point Shipyard is landfill - very poor quality and very contaminated.
Much of the Shipyard in contaminated with radiological elements.
Depleted Uranium was first tested at Hunters Point Shipyard and thousands of large animals - part of the testing experiment on Bikini Islands - where several Atomic Bomb Experiments were conducted - were brought back to Hunters Point and buried all over the place.
It is the responsibility of the United States Navy to clean up the Hunters Point Shipyard. But, the U.S. Navy and one Keith Forman wants to cap the Shipyard and thinks that he will not be accountable. The U.S. Navy has with intent - after being taken to task - dismantled the Restoration Advisory Board that revealed to the Public at Large - the many faults of the U.S. Navy dragging its feet and NOT being TRUTHFUL to the constituents of the Bayview Hunters Point and less to all San Franciscans.
The U.S. Navy must abide by the Precautionary Principle that is law in San Francisco. It must also abide by Proposition P - where eighty seven percent voted in favor of cleaning the entire Shipyard to the highest standards.
The U.S. Navy knows that the Ohlone remains have been desecrated and remains spread all over the Shipyard. In all the talk the U.S. Navy has not surveyed one single square inch to fulfill the Federal Mandates - laid by law and which is to be followed to respect the Ohlone. The First People the Muwekma Ohlone exercised their Right of First Refusal in 1991. The U.S. Navy will admit this fact in private - but, pander to Mayor Gavin Newsom , Sophie Maxwell, Nancy Pelosi, Diane Fenstein and others - when it comes to the transfer of desecrated land - that is the Hunters Point Shipyard - the U.S Navy falls short.
Well, I have been following this episode since 1998 - that is when Lennar incorporated itself in Sacramento. Since then it has changed its Corporation name - three times and is now registered in Delaware - which tells you how corrupt LENNAR is.
Lennar, continues to do business with dubious companies such as Owens, Sitrick, Singer, and a host of other "thug" infested companies that will do anything and everything for money. Willie L. Brown himself a "thug" politician brought this company, Lennar, to town and it is time - that we the people - send this company - flying out of our City.
Lennar promised to build 10,000 homes on Mare Island attached to Vallejo. After 10 years Lennar had nothing to show - declared bankruptcy and did not fulfill one single promise to Vallejo. Today, Vallejo is in a mess. That is exactly what will happen to San Francisco.
People are simply fed up with Lennar antics and it failure to abide by the law.
In the courts all over the Nation - thousands of suits have been filed - mostly, calling on Lennar for defrauding, cheating, harming mostly innocent people - and this behavior is uncalled for and must not be tolerated in San Francisco.
Lennar has been fined $515,000 for harming our children with intent - poisoning them with toxic dust, radiological elements, asbestos friables - of course Jeff Austin will deny that and so will Kofi Bonner and others. " NO GOOD COMES FROM LENNAR AND LENNAR MUST GO ". Just find out from the Bay Area Air Quality and Management District.
