The Plus-Sized Sister Movement is an entertainment company promoting the beauty and relevance of full-figured women through size-positive literature, motivational speaking, comedy, and fashion. The Plus-Sized Sister Movement is dedicated to empowering women of all shapes and sizes to fully embrace the power of faith, self-esteem, and self-confidence. By contributing positively to the size acceptance community, The Plus-Sized Sister Movement's goals are set on combating prejudice and discrimination on three fronts: race, gender, and size.

Motivational Speaking

Presentations are designed as 15, 20, or 30 minute segments. Subject matter is based on Christian principles that encourage excellence, inspire hope, and aid in the creation of developing a positive life plan, effective self-actualization, and coping mechanisms.


Comedy

The Plus-Sized Sister Movement presents “Introducing Queenie TT,” a one-woman showcase of adult comedy featuring Kamane' Malvo Marshall, author of Praise be to the Plus-Sized Sister. Queenie TT is Marshall's alter ego who is unapologetically plus-sized. Filled with clever anecdotes, naughty but nice jokes, and sassy little tales of what it means to be a full-figured African-American woman in a thin obsessed society, Marshall will leave you in stitches. (Currently available for booking at comedy shows, events, and private parties.)


Fashion Consulting

Fashion consulting designed specifically to help plus-sized women look and feel beautiful at any size. Kamane's Closet is scheduled to launch as an eBay seller by January 2011. Stylish, fashion-forward plus-sized clothing in sizes ranging from 1x-6x.
