Beyond Gay Marriage

Why is it that gay marriage is the primary issue of the mainstream Gay community ? Is it really the issue that is of importance to most Queers ? Why is it accepted without a feminist or progressive analysis of the both racist and conservative elements of this movement.
This radio documentary , "Beyond Gay Marriage, " provides a radical Queers critique of the "Gay Marriage" movement and the mainstreaming of gay politics and looks at what issues are important to radical, working class and Queers of color, issue that gay marriage displaces .
