DROP THE CHARGES!
Defending Public Education Is Not a Crime --
Attacking Public Education IS the Crime!

Police conducted a mass arrest of protesters in Oakland on the evening of March 4th. The protesters are being brought up on charges of Unlawful Assembly (PC 407 M) and Obstruction of a Public Place (PC647C M). Those individuals who were particularly brutalized by police are also receiving charges of Resisting Arrest.

§Court date on the 9th
by Unidentified Flying Oven
There was at least one protestor whose court date is on the ninth. Since that arrestee happens to be someone very dear to me (my court date is on the ninth), I would love it if people came by the court house.

Criminal is allowing the state to function in absolute disregard for the people being murderd, rapping and exploitated right now for the color of their skin and the lack equity they own. You want to hear what is violence? Violence is sitting back and doing nothing while the government takes your tax money and gives it to ceo's and bankers as the workers, teachers, students and home owners get shafted by Wall St. That's the violence that I see. Not a bunch of kids getting up onto a free way to steal headlines for education. If the 157 go to jail and the peole don't rise up against the system, it just further proves my point which is that we are a bunch of weaklings who do not have the intellectual capacity nor the strength to revolt nor desire to be free from the most violent government history every created.

FUCK THE STATE!
