SF events 3.25 Really Really Free Market Dolores Park, March 27th, 1-5PM

by Really Free Market Sat Dolores Park
Really Really Free Market Dolores Park, March 27th, 1-5PM. Dolores @ 19th / 20th St. SF http://www.reallyreallyfree.org
Bring stuff to give away! And / or Come and adopt free stuff someone is giving away! Clothing, appliances, housewares, furniture, tools, toys, games, music, instrumennts, art, books, you name it!
The Really Really Free Market is upon us once again!
This is an announcement to one and all: You are free – really!
So Saturday March 27th from 1-5pm we will gather to share these abundant gifts in our beloved Dolores Park of San Francisco, beneath the palms near the playground.
We are delighted to celebrate the first month of Spring together under the sun, spread out across sacred soil, exploring the ways free cultures share the bounty which the earth and sun, plants and animals, microbes and molecules and our fellow humans provide. The bounty is already given – we are continually learning how to share it and to provide more widespread immaculate access to this bounty. As we practice giving, we gain vital knowledge that enhances our ways of living among the interconnected ecosystem of diverse life forms. It’s as easy as placing a toaster oven in the circle and watching a person’s eyes light up when she sees it, as it is exactly what she needs…or sharing a skill – massage, tax advice, a haircut, bicycle repair…perhaps you teach art or how to do handstands… bring your favorite food or herbal elixir or a game or a song…perhaps bring yourself, fully present, to listen or share a story.
The Really Really Free Market is a mirror - it reflects what we give and the connectedness of our community. It’s up to us to demonstrate there is a better way to live, to love. Intrinsic value, use value, not market value- the other market has no values. But we can start to value each other again, and the gifts that the Earth brings to us this Spring. Let us celebrate together. You make the market happen!

Obamacare: Taxing The American People Into Oblivion
"Death and taxes may be inevitable, but they shouldn't be related"
H.R. 3590, The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, to give it its
full title, is rammed full of tax increases which will further economically
cripple Americans already laboring under the worst financial crisis since
the great depression.

Obamacare To Be Enforced By Armed Thugs
Ron Paul: "If it was a good program and everybody liked it, you wouldn't
need 16,500 thugs coming with their guns and putting you in jail if you
didn't follow all the rules"
If the health care bill was such a positive act of reform, as establishment
Democrats and the corporate media are pitching it, then how come it needs to
be enforced by means of coercion at the hands of thousands of armed IRS
thugs?

The Cost Of Defying Obamacare: $2,250 a Month And IRS Goons Pointing Guns At
Your Family
16,500 new tax collectors with "combat training" and pump action shotguns
will enforce "the change we seek"
The cost of defying Obamacare by withholding compliance on your income tax
return will not be for the faint hearted – families will be forced to cough
up $2,250 a month while being closely scrutinized by an army of new IRS
agents with fresh “combat training,” armed to the teeth with 12 gauge pump
action shotguns.

Ron Paul: IRS Will Steal More Money To Fund Health Care
Only thing that will repeal Obamacare will be bankruptcy of the United
States, warns Congressman
Texas Congressman Ron Paul warns that last night’s passage of the health
care reform bill will prompt the government to hire thousands of new IRS
agents who will be used to steal money from taxpaying Americans to fund the
new program.

the x-ray scanning devices in airports and government buildings and also
forces Homeland Security to disprove health concerns.

Colbert Skit Characterizes Census Paranoia as Right-Wing Kookery
Satirical slap down fails to mention that millions of Americans will receive
American Community Survey, which demands personal information about every
aspect of their private life
Stephen Colbert’s satirical slap down of paranoia surrounding the 2010
Census on his Comedy Central show last night may have been funny, but only
for the ignorant, since most of the issues he mocked are verifiably true and
a serious concern for any American who cares about their privacy.

Should Conspiratorial Thinking Be The Default Position?
Would society really collapse if Americans stopped trusting government
wholesale, or would only the corrupt in power be threatened?
Considering the number of times governments have been caught lying over the
last few decades, we have to ask the question, should the belief that major
world events and political developments happen as a result of a conspiracy
of some form or other be the default position in contemporary thinking, or
should we continue to blindly trust government and afford it the credibility
it plainly doesn’t deserve in order to maintain a perceived sense of order?

Anarchist Film Series: ****Free**** every Thursday for the month! @ 9PM 3030 B 16th St SF @ Mission/ Valencia
Thursday March 25th @ 9PM Thursday March 25th @ 9PM "WAS TUN, WENN'S BRENNT?" [2001]
[ English translation: "WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF FIRE?" ]
Set in Berlin, the film opens in 1987 to show a group of radicals battling
police but soon moves to the modern day to present the same radical characters
brought together once more by an act they carried out in their
anti-establishment heyday.
In 1987, the main characters of the film are anarchists squatting in an
abandoned building in Kreuzberg and making propaganda films. In one of these
films, they demonstrate how to make a homemade bomb out of a pressure cooker
and chemicals available over the counter, and they plant the bomb in a vacant
villa in Grunewald. However, the timer sticks, and the bomb does not go off
until 12 years later, when it is jostled by a real estate broker and a
potential buyer. They are injured in the blast, and the police are pressured to
hunt down the "terrorists" responsible.

April 2010

SF, April 1st, Thursday: St Stupids Day PARADE http://saintstupid.com
Thursday,  Noon, April 1th,  foot of Market st. SF. Ca. USA http://www.saintstupid.com 510 841 1898
This year we follow the  WEEKDAY parade route  on the sidewalk from the EMBARCADERO PLAZA  thru the financial district;
with stops at the 'stations of stupid' for the time honored rituals and traditions so beloved by the people down at the bureau of rituals and traditions.
Given the annual sub text (there's a sub in every parade), that of giving homage to the buisness of religion and the religion of buisness, this year promises extra fun in the concrete canyons of greed and deceit.
Stick the head of your favorite overpaid ceo on a stick (and the amount of his/her crime).
...bring PINK SLIPS and EVICTION NOTICES for the HQs of the not so free market.
..print your own money for bail outs, pay offs and buy ins.
Fun for all ages!  Drums and other noise production devices encouraged.  Attend at your own risk. Watch your step.
... RAIN OR SHINE. War and peace. free!!

The Money Fix: Local Currency Film Screening and Discussion Sunday, April 25th, 6-9pm Freedom Archives, 522 Valencia St. SF
Join us for an exciting evening of inspiring film and discussion with the director of the Money Fix, Alan Rosenblith, and local currency activists about the problems of the current centralized monetary system and new currency solutions proposed in the Bay Area and beyond. Interest in complementary currencies is exploding as the conventional financial system is becoming increasingly manipulated and controlled by and for the benefit of a few large, multinational corporations. The greater Bay Area is now a hotbed for currency projects rising up to challenge this system. Learn how you can get involved in creating a more equitable and sustainable local economy. This event is sponsored by Bay Area Community Exchange as a fundraiser to send Joaquim Melo from Brazil, founder of the most successful currency project to uplift the poor, to present Banco Palmas at the US Social Forum, as well as Mira Luna, the Director of Bay Area Community Exchange, to present Community Currencies 101.
About the Money Fix: Money is at the intersection of nearly every aspect of modern life.  Most of us take the monetary system for granted, but it has a profound and largely misunderstood influence on our lives.  The Money Fix is a feature-length documentary exploring our society’s relationship with the almighty dollar. The Money Fix examines economic patterning in both the human and the natural worlds, and through this lens we learn how we can empower ourselves by redesigning the lifeblood of the economy at the community level.  The film documents three types of alternative money systems, all of which help solve economic problems for the communities in which they operate. This film will utterly transform the way you perceive money and economics. See the trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trl5_BCL0qs
Admission: $2-20 sliding scale donation (no one turned away) For more info. mira [at] sfbace.org

Crash Course Chapter 3: Exponential Growth Chapter 4: Compounding Is The Problem are you prepared?
http://chrismartenson.com/crashcourse
If you only watch one chapter, start with chapter 16: fuzzy numbers

"In Germany back in 1923, a man put all the money he had into a wheelbarrow and headed to the store to buy a loaf of bread. But when he got there, the store was closed. He left his wheelbarrow outside the door, figuring he'd come back when the store opened, knowing the money in it wasn't worth enough for anyone to bother stealing. He was right. When he came back, all the money was still there, dumped on the ground, but someone had stolen his wheelbarrow."

Next came gun registration. People were getting injured by guns. Hitler said that the real way to catch criminals (we still had a few) was by matching serial numbers on guns. Most citizens were law abiding and dutifully marched to the police station to register their firearms. Not long after-wards, the police said that it was best for everyone to turn in their guns. The authorities already knew who had them, so it was futile not to comply voluntarily. No more freedom of speech. Anyone who said something against the government was taken away. We knew many people who were arrested, not only Jews, but also priests and ministers who spoke up.

GUN CONTROL WORKS ask the experts: Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao Tse-Tung, Idi Amin, Kim Jong-il, Qaddafi

Washington didn't use his right to free speech to defeat the British, he shot them.
Most often when a government takes a peoples guns, it then takes their land or their lives.
