Over 1,000 Architects and Engineers Demand a Real Investigation of 9/11

The design of large steel and concrete high-rise structures such as WTC-1, 2, and 7 is the job of architects and engineers. These professionals know that carbon fires resulting from burning jet fuel could not cause structures such as the steel and concrete 110-story Twin Towers to explode into dust in about ten seconds each as they did on September 11, 2001 in New York City; they also know that 47-story WTC-7, which had not been hit by an airplane, could not implode in a mere seven seconds [1] due to "fire" as NIST told the public in August, 2008 [2] . Moreover, in early 2009 Steven Jones, PhD, and a team of independent scientists and researchers proved the presence of the high-tech high-explosive nano-thermite in the dust from "9/11" [3], as described in his Sacramento presentation on April 30, 2009 [4].

By early 2010, Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth had achieved a milestone: The gathering of over 1,000 signatures from architects and engineers, demanding "a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01." [5]

On February 19, 2010, Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth held a press conference at the Mariner's Club and Hotel in San Francisco -in conjunction with press conferences in 47 additional North American cities - announcing the 1,000 signatures achievement. Regardless of the importance of the information presented in these press conferences, there has been scant reporting in the U.S. media of the 1,000-signature achievement. Why would that be? Could the unending war justified by 9/11 - Bush’s “War On Terror” that Obama has renamed the “Overseas Contingency Operation” [11] - be garnering huge profits and more for the “military industrial complex”? In their 2008 book The Three Trillion Dollar War, Joseph E. Stiglitz and Linda L. Bilmes estimated the true cost of the Iraq conflict alone to be $3 trillion. [12]
