Just last week (Feb. 2010) Modesto Ca,. had a rally of nearly 40 or so folks come out for 2 charged in last April ('09) for distribution & safe disposal of syringes. Fresno Needle Exchange was "illegal" for nearly 14 yrs. & just was legalized. Modesto cant afford to wait that long when it's estimated that 60-90 of users in Stanislaus county are Hep. C positive. The Board of Supervisers tell us different & we demand DIRECT public health in our COUNTY!
