KPFA LSB VICTORY? For ICR and the listeners or just ICR?

by Observer
I went to the recent KPFA LSB meeting and was very disappointed in the new majority. What happened to all the ICR promises, "we will make it better"?
The ICR folks seemed unorganized with some voting with Concerned Listeners and others not? And the Chair they elected has no idea how to chair such a meeting and no knowledge of Roberts Rules. What kind of a "progressive group" would pick such an incompetent chair? Is there something unspoken? Did the elected chair have some leverage or some debt owed by ICR? Is ICR starting to act like the Concerned Listeners? Shouldn't the chair be picked based on the ability to properly chair a meeting? In the history of the LSB there has been only one competent chair in my opinion, Richard Phelps, and sometimes he seemed too soft on the entrenched, and I didn't even see him at the meeting? Some how the incompetent seem to rise to the top at KPFA. Lemlem as a perfect example, and the competent ones move on. Why?

Isn't the chair one of the folks that were trying to get Henry Norr disqualified for some reason, as the rumor goes? Is there any truth to that rumor? If it is true what was the reason? If so why would the ICR elect a chair that was trying to off one of their most reliable and consistent members? And why would some of their members vote to re-elect the officers? From what I understand the Concerned Listeners chose to boycott the December meeting. So why should they get a second chance? On the positive side, if that happens maybe they can elect someone who has a clue on how chair a meeting.

Very disappointed so far and looking for answers, reasons or explanations.
