Lynn Woolsey campaigning for pro-war reactionary member of House

Lynn Woolsey has a rather decent record of opposing the worst of US policies. She opposed Bush’s war on Iraq. She supports sane health care reform that puts people first rather than corporate interests. She has at times been critical of Israeli policies that are so detrimental to not only the well-being of the people in the Middle East, but also the view of the US around the world.

So why, Lynn, are you going down next week to Southern California to campaign for one of the most reactionary members of Congress? Not only is she fighting for Jane Harman, California’s version of Dick Cheney, she seems to be opposing Marcy Winograd, a Democrat who is fighting to replace her in the House seat. Marcy is everything that Jane is not. Marcy supports working people, supports peace over war, supports rational health care systems…. The very stuff people think of when they hear “progressive Democrat”.
