The Badfinger Café - Art Symposium - Looking to create Arts Center

The Badfinger Café - Art Symposium is a strong and committed network of grass-roots community arts advocates, professional visual and performing artists and artisans.

Members of this group will provide a variety of servces: direction, support and advocacy that will assist in developing a viable community arts program in the County of San Diego's South Bay District.

The City of Chula Vista Council voted unanimously to accept a comprehensive Arts Master Plan on January 16, 2007. (see website). The implementation of the Arts Master Plan is still pending, but the City Council plans to address specific policies /ordinances in the near future in support of the overall plan.

This Yahoogroup is open to all visual and performing artists, art aficionados and all persons/groups interested in supporting the City of Chula Vista realize its arts master plan. Go HERE.
