Marin Emergency Winter Shelter
Volunteer Trainings
Red Cross Shelter Training with a duel purpose: 1) To train congregations who are designated shelters in case of a disaster. 2) To give a special focus to the host congregations of the Marin Emergency Winter Shelter. The shelter director, Chris Highland, will lead a Shelter Volunteer "welcome and walk through" presenting the new Volunteer Guidelines during the training. All congregation volunteers should come, as well as any other volunteers we may need, especially for night shifts (12am-3am; 3am-6am). Those from support congregations can come from 12:00-1:00PM.
The training will be held at -
San Rafael First United Methodist Church, 9 Ross Valley Drive, San Rafael. RSVP by Monday, November 16th to admin [at] marinifc.org and state Nov. 18th Training.
