California NORML Opposes Red Bluff Cultivation Ban
The proposed Red Bluff ordinance would effectively deprive patients of their Prop 215 right to grow medical marijuana, both individually and collectively. It would go so far as to prohibit caregivers from growing for their own family members.
California NORML is supporting opposition to the Red Bluff ordinance. Attorney Bill Panzer has contacted the Red Bluff city attorney to explain why the proposed draft is in violation of state law. If the city goes ahead and adopts it, advocates will seek to have it invalidated through the courts.
A defense fund is being raised to support the Red Bluff challenge. Prospective donors should RSVP or contact High Sierra NORML: 6148 Clark Rd #4, Paradise California 95969 or email to - high_sierra_norml [at] yahoo.com
