Afghan police open fire on protestors

Breaking News-Police in Kabul opened fire on 1,000 anti-US demonstrators today. This is the kind of "democratic partner" that the USA is backing in Afghanistan?
The Obama regime in Washington is desperately seeking a "democratic partner" in Kabul in order to put up a fig-leaf cover for the continuing US Occupation. But this neo-colonial strategy is rapidly unraveling, both militarily and politically. On the military front, despite the surge of tens of thousands more USA Invaders sent into the country, GI casualties are the highest since the aggression began in 2001(just today, 3 US helicopters have been put out of action, with at least several invaders killed). At the same time, the political situation for the position of the "Mayor of Kabul" is both volatile and unpredictable. After arm-twisting Hamid Karzai to accept a run-off with his main rival Abdullah, the USA remains committed to whatever unpopular puppet regime it has set up. When university students organized an anti-US protest this morning, it was met with gunfire from the Kabul police. This is the true face of the repressive nature of any US-backed governing regime in the neo-colony of Afghanistan. It's deja vu Vietnam all over again. Stay tuned.
