Peninsula | Arts + ActionRaging Grannies v. Billionaires at Republican Fundraising Luncheon
It was the Raging Grannies versus Billionaires for Wealthcare outside the Stanford Park Hotel where John Boehner was speaking to a $1,000 per plate Republican crowd in Menlo Park today. Singing health care songs was not enough this go round. The Grannies went on the offensive and tried to give the Billionaires a "shot of reality" in Menlo Park in front of the ritzy Stanford Park Hotel where the Lincoln Club was holding a fancy fundraising luncheon.
The Billionaires poo-poohed the idea that health care should be available for free or low cost to the masses. They retired to their "club" later for some much needed alcoholic beverages. Billionaire on the right says, "Really, you HAVE to be kidding!"
These two insisted they were NOT headed for the Republican fundraiser. They partook of the health care literature dispensed by both sides. Billionaires say: Profits before People! Grannies say: People before Profits
Billionaires needed to get away from the Raging Granny riff-raff so headed to "the Club"

Wait, Wasn't that NURSE JANE at the top of this post? Ahh, Grannies take on dual roles, I see!
Not to worry, their chauffeurs will be driving them home
