Health Care Town Hall
CONGRESSWOMAN LYNN WOOLSEY
6th District, California
Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey will hold a public town hall meeting on health care reform Monday evening, Aug. 31, in Petaluma at Veterans Memorial Hall. After brief introductory remarks, Woolsey will spend two hours answering questions and listening to the opinions of her constituents.
“We have been talking about health care with voters at numerous public events across the 6th district, in a telephone town hall meeting, and in many of the 5,000 e-mail, letter and phone inquiries our office answers every week,” said Woolsey. “A town hall, which has been requested by some constituents, is another way to continue the dialogue on this important issue.”
WHERE: Petaluma Veterans Memorial Hall, 1094 Petaluma Blvd South, Petaluma

Woolsey, D-Petaluma, said she will answer questions and listen to the opinions of constituents about proposed health care reform.

Woolsey received criticism recently when she had a telephonic health-care meeting with constituents, some of whom complained they received no advance notice of the teleconference.
