Cut The Perks, Not The What Works The University of California Board Of Regents are meeting at UCSF's Mission Bay facility July 14th, 15th and 16th to vote on giving UC president Yudof emergency powers to cut our wages, reduce our hours, and force layoffs. NO! 8% Pay Cuts NO! Furlough Days NO! Cut the UC Executives making hundreds of thousands of Dollars a year! Protest Cutbacks! Parnassus Pickets and Rally Tuesday July 14, 2009 12 to 1:00 PM (Parnassus-in front of the Medical Center) Regents Action At Mission Bay Wednesday July 15, 2009 8AM (Mission Bay Community Center-1675 Owens St.) San Francisco Union members and supporters from all over Northern California are taking the day off to come to San Francisco. We must let the UC Regents know that if they are going to cut anywhere, it should be from the executives' bloated salaries and perks. Mission Bay Community Center is 1675 Owens Street, San Francisco AFSCME 3299, CUE SFCUE.ORG, AFT UC, CNA, UPTE CWA 9119  feinstein__blum___riley.gif Richard Blum, the UC Chair of the Regents is a war profiteer with his wife and US Senator Diane Feinstein voting for war contracts in Iraq. He also brought in Yudof to "run" the University.
