Sandra B. Cook, PhD will give an historical and cultural overview of Afghanistan, to set the context for understanding and appreciating the photographic exhibition. Dr. Cook is co-president of the Louis and Nancy Hatch Dupree Foundation for the Afghanistan Centre at Kabul University, and has traveled extensively in Afghanistan since the fall of the Taliban in 2001.
