Grannies Jane and Marian out with parasols in the noonday sun. Looks like Granny Jane (left) could use more "protection". Her parasol is full of holes, just like For-Profit Health Care Coverage! The Grannies and their allies came out to counter some TEA = Taxed Enough Already "tea party" participants. That's the same group that demonstrated with their "Don't Tread on Me" pro-gun/anti-immigrant theme last April 15. This time, killing health care reform was at the top of their agenda. Health insurance companies have declared war on reform, in fact, they are doing everything in their power to strangle health care reform. Angry “tea party” protesters are now joining forces with the insurance companies to try to quash any change to the system...especially anything that would hurt insurance company profits! Tea party folks want to change NOTHING about the health care crisis; even though the health care status quo is a disaster! The Grannies asked them, why not join us since you are so concerned about saving money for Americans? Help us by supporting single payer – a nationalized health care system that will save us $400 billion a year. Granny Gail's parasol shows that a single-payer plan will provide full coverage!
