Copwatch monitors Chicago '68 policeman reunion
On Friday, June 26th, police who had participated in the famous violent crackdown against demonstrators at the 1968 Chicago democratic national convention held a 41 year reunion celebration. They even had a website which shows photos of police violence, although there wasn't much text to help describe the event. http://www.chicagoriotcops.com/
The gathering really happened as advertised, and there was a fairly large march against the event. Chicago has a long history of both police abuse and citizen response.
