San Jose Students Rally for Immigration Reform

Monday, June 29, 2009 : SAN JOSE College students and graduates from different ethnic communities gathered Tuesday in front of the San Jose City Hall, demanding that federal and local governments pay more attention to their demands for immigration reform.
The China Press reports that they asked for legal residency for all immigrant students, including those who are undocumented. Most of the students were Latinos. The others were Korean, Filipino and Indian students.
