On Saturday, June 6, hundreds came to Rabin square in Tel Aviv to commemorate 42 years of the occupation of Gaza by the Israeli military. the shirt reads "i too, commemorate the Nakba on the 15 of May".
§start of the march
the sign reads "end with the occupation and start living".
 dsc_5007__600_x_399_.jpg  dsc_5019__600_x_399_.jpg leading the march were the communist party of Israel (Hadash). the chants that were heard in this part of the march were "Jews and Arabs refuse to be enemies", "1-2-3-4 dismantle Kiryat Arba" (Kiryat Arba is a settlement in Hebron), and "their is hunger- get out of the occupied territories now".

the second group in the march was the Anarcho-feminist block. the sign on the right reads "freedom, without walls without borders". the sign on the left reads "murderers in uniforms". chants over here were more to the point and less trying to appeal the lowest common denominator. |
