Seven Stanford Students N1H1 Positive

Friday, June 5, 2009 : Palo Alto Stanford University announced that seven students have been diagnosed N1H1 positive, which makes it the second after the St Marys College in Moraga that released their N1H1 flu status. Lisa Lapin, spokeswoman of Stanford University said the seven students are still on campus and the university will treat N1H1 flu in the same way as seasonal flu.
The Sing Tao Daily reports Stanford students feel the university doesnt face the flu in a positive way and
believe there are not only two universities in the Bay Area that found N1H1 positive students. Siyuan Lu, PH.D student at Stanford who experience SARS in Hong Kong said he is fearful of the N1H1 flu now found on campus, and at the same time he feels helpless because the only protection available is to be careful by himself.
