Since the massive protests against the New Year’s killing of Oscar Grant, the community has had one clear objective: putting former BART cop Johannes Mehserle in prison for the
cold-blooded execution of our fellow community member, friend, worker & family member.
• Let’s educate ourselves about the legal issues involved in the
criminal trial set to begin with a preliminary hearing on May
18, 2009 at the Alameda County Superior Court.
• Let’s educate each other about the political implications
involved in this case — AND
• Let’s mobilize our families, friends, co-workers, neighbors
and communities to show up at the Alameda County Courthouse
on May 18, 2009 to demand Mehserle’s conviction for murdering Oscar Grant.
