Students, Union Members, Anarchists Rally to Support Immigrants and Workers Rights
On May 1, International Workers Day, rallies and marches are planned for cities in the San Francisco Bay Area, Santa Cruz County, and the Central Valley. Demonstrators will call for action in defense of jobs, families, immigrant rights, and unions.
In San Francisco, calling for mass action in defense of jobs and families, union contingents, students and supporters including the Anarchist Bloc will gather at Dolores Park in San Francisco at noon and march to Civic Center for a 4:00pm rally. The Alexander Berkman Social Club will sponsor a 4:00pm picnic at Dolores Park. Read more
