Raging Grannies at Mountain View Post Office
Tax Day is traditionally spent in front of a post office by Raging Grannies. 2009 was no different, and four of the protesting grannnies went to Mountain View, California's main post office. They weren't there long because they had to head down to San Jose to head off tea-baggers at the pass!
NO tea parties for these Grannies! First stop, Mountain View Post Office at the corner of Hope and Dana Streets to pass out literature showing just where our hard earned taxes go...the military budget and in a big way. Right-wing "Tea Party" attendees on the same day carried on about high taxes, yet not ONE of them we talked to in San Jose was against the war!
