International | IndymediaWhy Did Denmark Media Report on 9/11 Demolition Evidence?
Because the first author of the new paper, "Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe", is a resident of Denmark, the scientific findings of the paper received wide and unbiased news coverage there -- the way that unpoliticized scientific findings do in the US. Yet in the US, only Deseret News, Raw Story and Indymedia covered it. What will this say about the US media in years to come? How will this story evolve? Will it eventually be that most of the world will understand the likely truth of the attacks, while the US will be hiding the information from it's own people? The parallels to the Israel/Palestine situation, with the US and Israel maintaining a false reality for their populations to believe while the rest of the world and members of the United Nations are aware of the truths of the situation, are striking. Interestingly, even Democracy Now, so far, will not touch this story on findings of nano-thermite in the WTC dust. DenmarkWith the publication of Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe, conclusive identification of explosive residues in the Twin Towers was in hand: tiny chips found consistently in WTC dust samples contain a red nanocomposite substance that has particles, 40 nm thick, of elemental aluminum. In a world without perception management campaigns, proof that there were explosives in the Twin Towers -- and tens of tons of high-tech explosives at that -- would be big news. But who would seriously imagine seeing on the cover of the New York Times: "Massive Quantities of High-Tech Explosives Positively Identified in WTC; Entire Basis of War on Terror a Fraud"? No, Active Thermitic Material Discovered didn't even elicit one of Eric Lipton's tributes to the conspiracy buffs. While Loose Change was newsworthy enough to make the cover of USA Today and Democracy Now!, the new scientific paper clearly documenting conclusive positive tests for explosives, was quietly ignored -- or actively ignored in the case of Wikipedia, where long-absent Wikipedians came out of their closets to scoured pages of all references to the paper. But the mainstream media in Denmark, home of the paper's lead author Niels Harrit, was willing to look, and the story also got an early hearing in Utah's Deseret News. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 References 1.
