Deaths in bombing near Iraqi shrine
At least seven people have been killed in a bomb blast near the most important Shia shrine in Baghdad, the Iraqi capital.
Another 23 people were injured in the explosion in the northern Kazimiyah district on Wednesday, which is believed to be part of an organised campaign against Shia targets, police said.
The blast occurred about 100 metres from the tomb of Imam Mousa al-Kazim, one of the 12 Shia imams.
The attack comes a day after a baby was rescued from a car hit by an explosion that killed his mother on Tuesday.
A series of bombings has hit the country in recent weeks and the interior ministry has said that further attacks are likely.
