Angie Ngoc Tran will speak on
“Mobilized Workers vs. Morphing Capital:
Unlocking the Global Supply Chain in Vietnam”
at the Community Meeting of the Peace Coalition of Monterey County

at the Peace Resource Center, 1364 Fremont Blvd. in Seaside
Free and open to the public.
Angie Ngoc Tran is professor of political economy at the CSUMB. Since 1995, she has been researching, writing and presenting papers on labor-management-state relations, labor conditions, gender division of labor, labor media, labor unions, and labor resistance in Vietnam, including comparative perspectives on labor conditions with those of the United States and Malaysia. She has conducted fieldwork throughout Vietnam on these labor-related topics, interviewed workers and relevant stakeholders, and presented these materials in the U.S. and at global conferences of peers and non-academic audiences.
