San Francisco | Anti-WarUA Anti-Authoritarian Bloc at March 21st International Day of Action
Photos from the UA Anti-Authoritarian Bloc at March 21st International Day of Action in San Francisco. UA in the Bay came out to the International Day of Action sponsored by A.N.S.W.E.R. for the 6th Anniversary of the War in Iraq. We did not break away from the march, but instead we practiced marching together as anti authoritarians and practiced different bloc tactics for future actions.
During our bloc sprinting practice (reverse red rover), we accidentally knocked down a lady in the road. A few of us went to see if she was alright, and she was however a little shaken and upset. The cops wanted her to press charges, but she refused, because she really wasn't angry, just emotionally upset. The individuals representing UA sincerely apologize to that woman and want to make it perfectly clear that we mean no harm to ANYONE and don't want to see people injured, even if only accidentally, except in cases of our defense against VIOLENT PIGS. At the end of the march we all grouped up in the grass and had a nice discussion/rest while many cops lingered nearby. Please post more photos if you've got em! For those who weren't masked up in the previous photos, the faces have been slightly blurred and are not at all discernable when you zoom in on the JPEG.
