This video documents the protest on March 16th, 2009 in San Francisco in solidarity with Tristan.
On March 13th, 2009, Tristan Anderson, from Oakland, California, was shot in the head by Israeli forces during a protest against the Apartheid Wall in the Palestinian village of Ni'lin. Tristan was shot at close range with a new type of high-velocity tear gas bullet that can reach 500 meters. It is silent, leaves no smoke trail, and has a propeller to accelerate the weapon mid-air. Three days later, on March 16th, on the 6th anniversary of Israel's murder of Rachel Corrie with a bulldozer, friends and allies of Tristan gathered at the Israeli consulate in San Francisco.
