Overwhelmed by Hate!

I would like to share what I experienced on Thursday March 5 in front of the California State building while a hearing over Prop 8 was being held inside...
It was common knowledge that there would be some sort of presence of both Prop 8 opponents and proponents in the Civic Center area, but what wasn't common knowledge was the level of hate I encountered while dealing with the Yes on 8 crowd.
Prop 8 supporters screamed at people, held up discriminatory signs, and at one point they started getting physical. My experience culminated when a Prop 8 supporter spit on me....
I will eventually prove this by showing the video.
Prop 8 supporters called me and others, anti-species, non-human, mother fuckers, etc....
They showed their true colors.
The No on 8 supporters also showed their true colors by tolerating and displaying acts of love, and togther-ness...

This is a wake up call.
And it is my opinion that:
If you support Prop 8? You have aligned yourself with hate.
If your against 8 then you have aligned yourself with love and freedom.

My question to our leaders?
When is enough enough, and why do we have to keep it peaceful and why do we have to keep putting up with hate?
