by Eve of Justice

California's State Supreme Court hears oral arguments on March 5 about Prop 8 (banning same-sex marriage),
which voters narrowly approved in November 2008. So on the *Eve of Justice* demonstrators in Palo Alto, some dressed as brides, stood at the corner of El Camino and Embarcadero to make the case for the right to marry.

Chants: Tell me what you want, what you really want--Equal Rights~!

Song to the tune of Clementine by the Raging Granny Brides.

Look around you, see the people
Getting married every day
It's our right to wed a loved one,
So why can't you if you're gay?

Cinequest pamphlets in hand, a Raging Grannies member promotes the documentary coming this weekend. "Metro News Silicon Valley" named Pam Walton's documentary about the local gaggle of Grannies a *pick of the Cinequest Film Festival* and said, "watch special guest star Bill O'Reilly get shocked, really shocked!, to hear a granny say that military recruiters lie!"

*Raging Grannies: The Action League* screens March 7 and 8 and shows anti-Prop 8 action in Mountain View, California in November 2008.
