With only 4 days left until the premiere of Pam Walton's documentary on the Raging Grannies of the San Francisco Bay Area, the reviews are coming in....strong!
Top photo: Pam Walton and two Grannies get ready for another interview.

Pam was interviewed last week on KTVU Channel 2 and talked about what it was like directing a documentary about the Grannies. Mainstream TV networks and radio broadcasters have interviewed Pam and the Grannies in Pam's home, at the Cinequest Film Festival Opening, and by telephone in the days leading up to the film's premiere on Saturday March 7.

Curve Magazine's Heather Robinson had this to say about the movie:

"So many of us are sitting in front of our computers and TV's, missing out on the mini revolutions happening on our own streets. Its good to know the Grannies are out there, pounding the pavement with their canes and sensible shoes. [The documentary] *Raging Grannies* captures these
kick a#$ women in action, with insight into who they are, where they came from and why they set aside their knitting to make the world a better place. Its an inspiring, touching call to action that reminds us all that its never too late to change for the better."

WHAT: Raging Grannies: documentary premiere

WHEN: Saturday March 7 at 2:00pm and Sunday March 8 at NOON.

Where: Camera 12 Cinema, 201 S. Second St., San Jose, CA

Tickets: http://www.cinequest.org or call (408) 295-FEST

Bonus entertainment is now to be on BOTH DAYS: Meet the Grannies, meet director Pam Walton!

*Raging Grannies: The Documentary* Special Presentation will be preceded by a 20 min short film *The Response* based on actual transcripts of the Guantanamo Bay military tribunals.

Then the Grannies will take the stage to introduce with song, the long awaited documentary covering some of their most controversial "gigs" from San Francisco to San Jose.
