This is an information meeting about a current program that works with people between the ages of 11 and 14 years old. The program is called the Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program. The focus of this program is to empower the young people within this age group to realize that they are individuals with the capacity to provide positive contributions towards their communities. We are looking for like minded individuals who may be interested in being involved with this type of service by way of becoming "animators" which are basically like mentors who guide the young youth into channeling the energies they possess towards meaningful service projects that the young youth themselves identify and take ownership of. The spiritual aspect of this program focuses on helping these young youth develop the spiritual capacities inherent within all human beings (kindness, respect, patience, service and the like) and guiding them in helping them develop their own moral framework for the future and present conditions they face within the transitional period that accompanies the young age group.
This is an information meeting and we are hoping to find
individuals who may be interested in developing the capacity to serve communities in this manner.
