War Criminal GW Bush Regime Escapes to Texas Ranch

by Peaceful Retirement Clearin' Brush?
Since GW Bush, Cheney and their fellow war criminals of the outgoing Bush administration are escaping their needed trail for war crimes following the illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq based on fabricated evidence. Many needless deaths from invasion of Iraq and a crumbling economy are the legacy of this brilliant criminal regime. Are we content to allow them to simply retire to clearing brush on the Texas ranch without a war crimes trail??
Even though Democrats under Nancy Pelosi dropped the ball when in came to impeachment hearings for the war criminal GW bush regime following evidence of violations of the Geneva conventions, and an illegal invasion of Iraq based upon fabricated evidence (some gained under false confessions of tortured al-Queda senior members), there still can be an international war crimes tribunal that tries the outgoing Bush administration for war crimes.

This war crime trial would also send a message to the incoming Obama administration that the people of the U.S. take their Constitution seriously and any leader who attempts to revoke Constitutional Rights (wiretapping, spying on citizens, etc...) in the name of "war on terror" or some other concocted scheme will face the full wrath of a citizen's trial of their leaders for their betrayal of the public trust..

In addition an international trail for violations of the Geneva conventions by frequent and endorsed (by Rumsfeld, Cheney, etc...) use of torture against detainees in U.S. custody, or transfer of prisoners from U.S. custody to other nations that allow torture during interrogations..

We're all very pleased that an African-american is now elected as President, this shows the people of the U.S. are letting go of racism and other outdated concepts, however gradual this may be, the election of an African-american as President is a symbolic victory that can be seen internationally..

However, that in itself doesn't ensure that Mr. Obama will perform as expected by the people who elected him there. We can also view the appointment of Condoleeza Rice to Sec. of State as a victory for African-americans, though her performance alongside the antics of Cheney and Bush is anything but admirable..

We also need to remind ourselves that Mr. Obama is in the pocket of the Democratic Party, and their behavior in following along behind the GW bush war machine (green light for invasion of Iraq, taking impeachment off the table, etc...) isn't worthy of being considered role models either..

BTW, my vote went to Green Party candidate Cynthia McKinney, who is also African-american though has far more reasonable political views than the winning Democratic party who may also be controlled by AIPAC and globalist corporations, just more well spoken than Bush could ever hope for..

Yes, i'm one of those ideological wierdos who actually votes my conscience and based upon issues, not just for whomever is the most likely to win, the lesser evil or who has the biggest campaign contributions..

If the first item on Mr. Obama's agenda is a massive bailout for the corporate banks, i will gladly step up as a critic of the first African-american President because i will remain an ideological wierdo attached to debating issues, not another rah-rah cheerleader in the latest popularity contest of corporate media fueled propaganda. Need we remind ourselves with the unwitting eagerness that the corporate media supplied to GW bush's invasion of Iraq before all the evidence of Bush regime's deception and fabrication of evidence emerged??

Needless to say i'm not the biggest fan of GW bush retiring to Texas for clearing brush and shooting at armadillos. My suggestion would be for a war crimes tribunal to be organized on an international level, or else something may pop out of the Texas brush besides an armadillo!!

You are truly a weirdo in my opinion---you need to 'walk in their shoes'---Pres. Bush did the best he could under the circumstances---liberals fighting him at every turn-- and the war on terror. He protected the US from further attacks, which were all around the world....
Hussein did have WMD and moved them before the war started---listen to some of the people who saw them being moved to Saudi Arabia....
I believe the Bush regime did the very best they could under very stressful circumstances....
you and your international trials should go jump off a bridge--the Bushes DESERVE their peaceful retirement.

"You are truly a weirdo in my opinion---you need to 'walk in their shoes'---Pres. Bush did the best he could under the circumstances---liberals fighting him at every turn-- and the war on terror."

No, GW Bush lied and decieved the people of the U.S., using 9/11 attacks as a false reason for invasion of Iraq, the claim that Sadddam worked with al-Queda came from false confession after torture of al Libby, a senior al-Queda operative. Anyone tortured enough will lie and say what their captors want to hear. Another valid reason that torture should never be used by the military or anyone else..

The real reasons for the invasion of Iraq were because Saddam switched Iraqi currency to be compatible with the Euro and this caused the U.S. oil economy serious stress. The attempts by the GW bush regime to privatize Iraq's oil feilds several years after removing Saddam from power should be another good clue as to Bush regime's motivations..

then;

"He protected the US from further attacks, which were all around the world...."

Most of these attacks by al-Queda (and others) were either directed at U.S. targets (embassy, hotel, etc...) or allies of U.S. for specific reasons, the U.S. occupation of Muslim lands and unilateral aid to the apartheid regime of Israel by U.S. policymakers..

To reduce the need for spending of U.S. taxpayer dollars on military contracters (Boeing, Raytheon, etc...) and the ease of al-Queda recruitment due to Muslim outrage over U.S. and Israeli military actions, the simple yet important requests of al-Queda spokesperson "Azzam the American" could be heeded; remove all U.S. military bases and troops from Muslim lands and cease support of apartheid Israel, demand autonomy and self rule without interference for Palestinians. This would reduce the recruitment potential of al-Queda, as less Muslim outrage means less reason to become a suicide bomber. Less terrorists, less need to spend our taxpayer dollars on military equipment, the potentials for peace times savings are truly staggering..

then;

"Hussein did have WMD and moved them before the war started---listen to some of the people who saw them being moved to Saudi Arabia...."

This shows ignorance as Saddam detested the Saudi Arabian monarchy who are allied with the Bush family. The competition Saddam posed made him a threat to the Saudi monarchy, and this is part of the reason they supported GW bush's invasion of Iraq!!

The point is no WMDs were found in Iraq or elsewhere, there is no evidence that Saddam moved WMDs anywhere else. We could assert that Saddam shipped the WMDs off to the moon, yet unless we can show evidence of this claim it is invalid. That is how reality works. Sometimes reality sucks for folks like Bush/Cheney, so they find creative ways of bending and stretching the truth until it screams for mercy..

then;

"I believe the Bush regime did the very best they could under very stressful circumstances...."

Stressful enough to violate the Geneva Conventions and the U.S. Constitution, both of which are criminal acts for figures (s)elected? to represent the U.S. public. Thus the GW Bush regime are in need for a certified public trial to verify and prove the claims of war criminal being made against them by U.N. officials and domestic civil liberty advocates..

finally;

"you and your international trials should go jump off a bridge--the Bushes DESERVE their peaceful retirement."

Threatening me with forced suicide will not help your case either. No, i will not jump off any bridges, and will instead join up with the international movement for a war crimes trial for the former GW bush regime..

"When the possibility of far-reaching war crimes and crimes against humanity exists, people of conscience have a solemn responsibility to inquire into the nature and scope of these acts and to determine if they do in fact rise to the level of war crimes " -- from the Charter

full indictment

Destruction of the Global Environment

The Commission will inquire into the following charges:

Count 1: Denial and Distortion of Scientific Consensus and Findings--
The Bush administration has consistently denied the scientific consensus around global warming and its causes. Administration officials have misrepresented, distorted, and suppressed scientific information on the subject, especially as it would impact public opinion.

Count 2: Obstructionism on International Efforts--
The Bush administration has refused to take any measures to curb the emissions of greenhouse gases, guided by narrow corporate interests. It has withdrawn from any international efforts that would impose binding restrictions, however minimal. It has done this with full knowledge of the catastrophic effects of global warming and the disproportionate U.S. share of world greenhouse gas emissions, the leading cause of global warming."
