The year WE change the face of institutional racism in Santa Cruz County!
Santa Cruz County Community Coalition for Overcoming Racism (SCCCCOR) announces it’s next community-wide meeting~
Place and time: Unitarian Universalist Church, 6401 Freedom Blvd. Aptos, CA,
6:30-8:30, Thursday, January 22, 2009
Purpose: To inform the coalition and community members about our goals for 2009, including Action Groups working within various sectors to end racism. The six groups are:
1. Education
2. Employment
3. Health Care
4. Housing
5. Immigration
6. Law Enforcement
We will also be addressing immediate issues such as supporting the Beach Flats Community Center.
Join a community with a cause! Watch Santa Cruz County truly address institutional racism!!
