MORE THAN 10,000 MARCHED ON WESTWOOD MARCH RALLY FOR PALESTINE

Los Angeles — More than 10,000 Protestors marched on Westwood, Los Angeles in a big show of solidarity and support for Palestine and the besieged people of Gaza.

At the van of the march were Palestinian flag draped coffins symbolizes the death and destruction in Gaza wrought by Us-Israel war machine terrorists.

It was followed by a giant Palestinian flag,hand-woven and was held high by Palestinian women. Behind them was a sea of green, black and red Palestinian flags displayed by Arab and Palestinian youths.

Later on Christine Araquel from AJLPP and Amanda Martin from GABnet spoke at end-rally in front of the Federal building after the march around Westwood area.

The five-hour march-rally went on peacefully despite many provocations by Pro-Israeli demonstrators. Active peace marshals from ANSWER-LA thwarted the moves of some of the provocateurs.

There has been a series of protests by the ANSWER-LA and the Free Palestine Alliance since Israel began the bombing and the invasion of Gaza since the last two weeks.

More than 10,000 people also protested in San Francisco on the same day. The ANSWER LA and the Free Palestine Alliance (FPA) called the Regional march protest on Saturday, January 10 at 12:00 noon in front of the Westwood Federal building, 11000 Wilshire/Veteran street.

The Los Angeles protests coincides with the national day of protest and solidarity with Palestine -- all over the world and the United States especially in Washington DC where more than 30,000 people march in protest.

If there were 10k marching in Westwood, why does this story display photos from downtown LA. Was the march all the way from Westwood to downtown? I'm puzzled.

It looks to me like the photos are from a different event -- an immigrant rights march in LA.

ANSWER always lies about the number of people that attend their events. Sometimes by a factor of 10. Most estimates from non-aligned, independent sources put the number at 3,000 which is a good turn out, but not good enough for ANSWER. So they lie and say that there were 10,000 or more people there. ANSWER calls the people who challenge their numbers spies or agents working for the police. In fact anyone that contests ANSWER is an agent of the state. The Irony of this is that it is ANSWER that works with the police and actually sides with the police against anyone who does not follow their permit march route or protest in any manner that they are in control of.

This EPCC group has relations with the PSL, the Party for Socialism and Liberation, which is a front for the Stalinist Faction of the Communist Left in North America. ANSWER is a front group of the PSL party which is tasked with co-opting street protests on what ever issues might be enraging the public at that time. So that makes it a Front group of a front group. And EPCC is a spin off of the front group that is its self a front of another front group.

Got it?

The PSL forms these groups to give the appearance that they are part of some large coalition. When in reality they are all marching to the beat of same central committee.

Sorry for the confusion, but that's just the way these people want it to be.

Here’s a new chant for next time you go an ANSWER/police controlled event:

“Free Free Protest Land, End the ANSWER Coalition Now”
