Dear Mumia:

From the Molino de Flores prison, we want to send you our greetings and our hopes that today’s activity at the United States Embassy will bear fruit for your cause. We understand all too well the “irregularities” in a trial and, above all, the crooked “justice” handed down. We who have been struggling to get some justice for more than two years, we who are now have unjust sentences imposed on us, understand very well what is going on in your case.

We don’t want to mislead you by telling you that we’ve known about your case for years. No, most of in this prison connected with the Atenco case are new to the broader social struggle. Most of us here found out about you because it was you who spoke out about us. People sent us what you wrote and told us who you are. Then they brought us some videos about you, and that’s how we began to learn more. They say there’s an appeal in your case, just as there is in ours, and so we want you to know that, from this hole where we’re locked up, we demand justice for you as well.

We want to thank you for your article about our case and voice our solidarity with your cause, which is our cause, too.

Sincerely,

Political prisoners of Molino de Flores Prison
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
