Over 300 cities throughout the U.S. and in cities around the world protested against the denial of of same sex couples to marry. This included 50 cities and towns in California that had demonstrtations. Prop 8 has become a rallying cry for LGBT communities everywhere to get active in defense of their basic civil rights to marry that on November 4 in California was taken away by a heavily financed campaign of lies fueled by the Catholic and Mormon churches.
