Embattled Judge Tigar "Stashes" Key Material Witness, Tries To Avoid Complicity, Guilt
by Martin Silverman Thursday Nov 13th, 2008 7:25 PM
On Tuesday, March 25, 2008 Stephan Barber, the defense counsel in the case of Abdul-Jalil al-Hakim v. CSAA Insurance informed the court that the one key, indispensable, material witness, Ron Cook, had a trip planned and paid for the following week and would not be available for trial until April 14, 2008. This would conveniently eliminate him from testifying and abort al-Hakim’s case entirely. This witness had known that he was to testify on that date and time for over two weeks and that his testimony would be for several days.
