Honor Resisters Day (formerly Vets Day) Noon at the MRS

Join CodePINK at the MRS* as we honor those courageous veterans and active duty soldiers, private and public alike, who are taking those steps to resist this horrific 'war' and occupation, as well as those who have also resisted in the past.

We will especially call out the names of Jamie Leigh Jones, Ann Wright, Nick Morgan and many others.

Bring names, stories to share, print out and/or post on the windows, of those you know who are standing up! Or have stood up in the past.

Thousands of soldiers are refusing to fight in this war. Our new president has stated he will take troops out of Iraq and send them to Afghanistan.

Let us be determined too and send the message we MUST change direction: from Iraq to the USA!
