Australian activist Debbie Brennan speaks at the Annual Radical Women Conference
Socialist-Feminist activist Debbie Brennan speaks about political problems in Australia. Difficulties with employment and wages; overpriced education; abuse of Southeast Asian immigrant workers; poorly structured and delivered health care; along with increasingly heavy-handed government repression against dissenters...the same problems we experience here, resulting there from years of a neoliberal government under President Howard.
Ms Brennan speaks in detail about positive campaigns in the labor movement to fight for necessary changes. The talk was given on October 4, 2008 at the Women's Building in San Francisco during the annual Radical Women Conference. (24 minutes)
