Environmentalists in wolf costumes howled in pain while union members led chants from a flatbed truck. A Sarah Palin impersonator winked and vamped as protesters in Mad Men inspired 50's costumes sent the message "Sarah is setting back the clock on women's rights". Oh, and there's nothing like a giant missiled war machine with a mask wearing McCain inside to inspire the anti-war activists of San Francisco and surrounding cities! Several hundred angry protestors gathered in front of the Hyatt-Regency Hotel in Burlingame, adjacent to the San Francisco airport, to demonstrate their displeasure with the GOP platform and particularly with the extremist war-loving and anti-woman's rights views of Sarah Palin.
