You can help end the war in Iraq !



Join us for an afternoon to socialize and share your ideas on how to promote peace initiatives locally and nationally. Presentations on:



· Local ballot initiatives:

· Proposition U to terminate funding for the Iraq War,

· Proposition V to restore JROTC to SF Schools,

· Clarifying the truth in military recruitment,

· Peace dividend/tax credit from the Pentagon "defense"

budget to benefit low and middle incomes.



Come to participate, and:



· Drink liberal lattes.

· Connect with like-minded people.

* Watch Camilo Mejia and Aidan Delgado in premier of new documentary Soldiers of Conscience – to be shown on PBS stations on October 16 (KQED, 10:00 pm in the Bay Area).
