endangered species face new threat from feds

Your help is needed to stop the attempt underway now to further weaken
protections for endangered species.
The Bush administration is trying to weaken the Endangered Species Act on a fast
track so there's very little time and they're refusing to accept email or fax.

Why does it matter?

After the time when no one remembers what the United States was, much less
any possible difference in the effect of whether Obama or McCain became
president, and after the time when no one remembers what gasoline was, much
less what happened to its price, life would continue to be impoverished if
Salmon were driven to extinction by our actions and inactions.
